The word gorgeous comes to mind when I think of my experience at BOND ST.
Gorgeous space, gorgeous people and gorgeous food!
What begins as an unassuming entrance, expands into three floors of pure hipster heaven.
Each floor of this trendy Japanese space presents a slightly different kind of experience and vibe whilst offering the same menu and drinks. There is a Tatami Room, Upper Dining Room and a basement BOND ST Lounge.
The food is unexpectedly divine!
Chefs Shigeru Mikami and Marc Spitzer’s combine their talents in creating really splendid Japanese cuisine with modern European accents. The kitchen just keeps sending out food that is super fresh, inventive and really delicious.
Some of my favorites were:
- Big Eye Tuna Tarts : This appetizer blew my mind. Melt in your mouth tuna topped a thin, crisp cracker. It was perfection.
- Spicy Crispy Shrimp: I loved this perfectly spiced crisp tempura shrimp.
- Spicy Tuna Rolls: These might be the best tuna rolls I have ever had.
- Lychee Panna Cotta: This dessert was ever so delicately flavored with hints of lychee.
The presentation is breathtaking. Every dish that was placed on the table was received with an “ooh “ or an “aah” and the best part is that everything tastes just as good as it looks. BOND ST truly is the perfect meeting ground for the fashionista and the foodie!
