The Mammoth Hot Springs have been rated at one of the top five things to see in Yellowstone National Park. These gorgeous colored terraces are made from travertine and steam with hot water that comes up from the limestone beds. The hues of the formations are truly unreal. The landscape is just stunning.

 

A great way to enjoy these views is by eating a meal at the dining room at Mammoth. The food at the dining room is actually the best meal we had in all of Yellowstone. I really liked their Buffalo Chicken wings (the sauce was really spicy and tasty too). The service was super friendly and our food came rather quickly. It was a perfect way to end a day at this spectacular locale.
