Location, Location, Location – is all that Blue Water Grill is thriving on.
This over crowded eatery serves the mass market with unimaginative dishes that are poorly composed. There wasn’t an ounce of definition that I found in any morsel I ate – I was bored to tears throughout the meal from beginning to end.
It really is a pity because the physical restaurant itself has that old New York charm but the food just didn’t cut it for me.
Oh! How I wished all evening that I had hopped over to Union Square Cafe next door instead. If not for the super friendly, ultra courteous service – the evening might have been a complete wash.
Here is some of what we ate:
Wild Mushroom Bisque
Seared Fluke Roll
Thyme Roasted Artic Char
Crisp Snake River Brook Trout
Double Chocolate Espresso Bar
Citrus Panna Cotta Tart
