I was desperate for dessert when we happened to chance by this sweet little cupcake shop housed in a tiny basement in Adams Morgan.

 Sweet Themez, owned by Maurice Holmes is a wonderful cake and cupcake store, which offers a wonderful variety of cupcakes, cakes and cake pops. They have a full range of vegan cupcakes too.

 Their cupcakes were very tasty – they have a really good Red Velvet and their cake pops are really delicious – try the cookies and cream. They also do take orders on customized cakes for wedding and any other occasion.

 At Sweet Themez the belief is that “happiness is cake”! I sure do believe that too!
