Must try: Lamb Chops
Killer kababs in a zero atmosphere – zero personality space!
Located on Main Street, Flushing amongst a multitude of Chinese eateries and stores, Kabul Kabab House serves Persian and Afghani food.
Their kababs are outstanding. You must try the Lamb Chops, which is one of their most popular items. Don’t bother with the appetizers – whatever I tried was rather nondescript though the Hommus had a nice kick of Cumin spice to it, which was different. The pita was extremely disappointing. It was dense and hard –seemed stale to me. Customer satisfaction doesn’t seem to be a priority around here – I found the service and ambiance very indifferent.
This is place is really expensive for where it is at and what it offers. What’s worse is that they charge you extra for everything (including a $5 charge if you share a dish)…and to top it all they add a service charge on every bill whether it’s for two or twenty people!!
The best way to do Kabul Kabab House is takeout – that way you don’t have to deal with the mediocre service and ridiculous charges!
Here is some of what we ate:

HOMMOUS
BADENJAN BURANEE
KASHK BADENJAN
