Must try: Bruschette, Lasagnette Di Melanzane
I delight in small plate cuisine and Inoteca on Lower East Side offers just that! This charming rustic wine bar tenders bite size Italian-inspired dishes that pair beautifully with their award-winning wine selection.
Using top-notch ingredients, this hot spot has hipsters amassing for delectable drinks and eats. The menu is divided into six sections which offer everything from bruschetta to Panini’s to eggplant lasagnette to meatballs – which are all splendid! The Capponatta was to die for – I order it twice!
The brothers Denton of Ino fame joined with chef and co-owner Eric Kleinman to craft a winning creation. With a wine list of over six hundred bottles and food to match it’s no wonder that Inoteca is perpetually packed.
Here is some of what we ate:
Truffled Egg Toast
Mortadella
Bruschette
Spaghetti Pomodoro
Lasagnette Di Melanzane
Meatballs
