An all-vegetarian French Bistro – what a bold concept!
At Table Verte – vegetables are the new meat!
This gutsy little eatery, housed in a cozy spot in the East Village is helmed by owner Didier Pawlacki (of Taureau & La Sirene fame) and Chef Kenneth Larsen.
Larsen, who trained at the French Culinary Institute, is truly passionate about what he does. At Table Verte, he offers an appealing menu using French cooking techniques with a nouveau greenmarket flair.
None of the dishes are overly loaded with cream or butter but rather have a lightness to them, which allows for the vegetables to be the star of the plate.
With wonderful service and authentic charm, Table Verte is well on its way to being an East Village staple.
