Must try: Baba ghannouj, Pita bread
Moustache in the West Village offers Middle Eastern comfort food made easy. This cozy little eatery domiciled on Bedford Street has three other outlets scattered around the city.
The food here is good enough and it is wildly popular. Moustache is especially known for their “pitzas”
My favorite dishes are the baba ghannouj ( one of the best I’ve had) and their super thin, fluffy pita bread. Their chicken kebabs were pretty good too whilst the Tabouleh fell a little flat and the baklava bordered on inedible.
All in all, for the fabulous price point, pleasant service and digs – Moustache offers a deal too good to pass up.
Here is some of what we ate:

Baba Ghannouj
Pita Bread
Chicken Kabab with Lentil Puree
