Must try: Hot Chocolate
This post is dedicated to my dearest friend Stephanie who introduced me to this downtown spot!
Reminiscent of a café set somewhere in Europe, styled with antique furniture and caked in old world charm, MarieBelle chocolates hold its own in New York City.
Being no stranger to charming spots, Soho seems to be the perfect site for this divinely decadent chocolate house.
In the front half of the store one can purchase and sample a large variety of freshly made chocolates, confections, ice creams and so on.
At the back of the store is a cute little Cacao Bar and Tea which is the perfect spot to rest your weary feet and feed your soul!
The offerings consist of light fare, fresh-baked pastries, desserts ( which were decent but not outstanding) and a menu of killer hot and iced chocolates!
The hot chocolate is so rich that it contains NO COCOA powder– it is just made with the finest Belgian chocolate and refined sugar. This is a must try – my favorite was the white chocolate one but I do suggest you share it with someone because that drink is heavy!
There is a pretty price tag that is attached to all this pretty food but I think that MarieBelle is definitely a spot that worth a visit.
Here is some of what we tried:
