What a momentous day Monday, March 24th, 2014 was at Le Cirque Café.
Not only did we experience “Musical Monday” which is ongoing during the months of March and April at the Café but we also celebrated Le Cirque turning 40 and the legendary Sirio Maccioni.
This milestone anniversary was marked by presenting guests with a “one night only” optional 4-course “Heritage Menu” featuring some of Le Cirque’s signature dishes.
There was also a special performance by the talented Sabrina Wender (Marco Maccioni’s wife) who is the founder and inspiration behind “Musical Mondays” at Le Cirque Café.
Le Cirque Café, the more casual arm of the classic Le Cirque, offers that perfect place to unwind at – in an informal setting whilst experiencing the same high standards of service and cuisine as one gets in the main dining room.
The evening was filled with delightful food created by Le Cirque’s brand new executive chef Raphael Francois, from the Connaught Hotel in London, where he earned 2 Michelin stars! Francois’ menu artfully presents modernized renditions of the Le Cirque classics.
The Café came alive with Sabrina’s lilting Italian “La Dolce Vita” tunes, American Jazz Standards and Bossanova. What a great way to “jazz” up ones Monday nights!
Musical Mondays will continue through the month of April from 7-10 pm with a line up of extremely talented performers. Click here for a list of upcoming shows.
Le Cirque Café offers guests a menu of a la carte options or a superbly priced two course prix-fixe lunch for $28.00 or dinner for $38.00.
Excellent food such as this coupled with a great wine/ drinks list and marvelous entertainment sure sounds like the best way to chase away those Monday blues.
