There is an entire bakery on the Upper East Side that is dedicated to the Merveilleux. What the heck, you might ask, is it anyway?

A Merveilleux is a Belgian pastry, which is made of just three components – meringue, whipped cream, and one of four choices of toppings.

I have to say that out if such simplicity comes something that is quite uniquely fantastic.

The Merveilleux offers an alternative to traditional desserts that abound. This is something that is quite different to try, light airy and very tasty.
