St. Anselm is one of the most unassuming, affordable steakhouses in town.
Owned by Joe Carroll of Fette Sau and Spuyten Duyvil, food here is treated with simple seasonings and not too much pageantry.
Whilst St. Anselm does a lot of dishes really well – the Butchers Steak and Pan-Fried Mashed Potatoes are the stand out ones. For one, the prices are amazing for the quality of food offered and it tastes really good too.
I think St. Anselm is a really great spot – rustic, understated and scrumptious.
