Those guys from Major Food Group have done it again with a Jewish styled brassiere this time, which of course has become an instant hit.
Sadelle’s is their ode to a quintessential New York bagel shop with all the bells n whistles dressed up in finery. The space is just gorgeous with a throwback feel with white-gloved staff serving fine fish with the utmost courtesy.
“Hot Bagels” are continuously brought out from the bakery, which is in the capable hands co-owner and head baker Melissa Weller. There is a take out section, which always has a line, and there of course is the sit down option where one can feast on an array of smoked fish, breakfast favorites and more.
The dishes are expensive but the fish is really good. You will end up ordering a tower with assorted smoked fish like salmon, sturgeon and more. They also have all the brunch favorites – we had a really excellent Salmon Eggs Benedict.
I really liked the idea and execution of Sadelle’s but I think when it comes to food, I am still partial to my favorite Russ and Daughters.
