Sugar Sketch – an adorable name for an endearing little cake shop in the East Village.

Italian born pastry chef Martina Nardo and owner, literally ‘sketches’ with ‘sugar’ here fashioning charming cakes, cookies and more.

I recently attended a Valentine’s Day breakfast and was treated to a host of delightful eats.

Cake and cupcake flavors include those a little out of the ordinary such as cherry blossom, limoncello and more.

Sugar Sketch also offers a menu of savories such as fresh baked Cheese Clouds, croissants and so on. 

There are breakfast squares, pies, dessert and a whole menu of drinks to match the eats. I’ve just given you a whole list of reasons to head on down to Sugar Sketch just as soon as you can.
