  3. Congrats Malini!!! Putting the foodie in you to good use eh??? Just one thought…the font in citric green is a bit hard to read. Could you switch to an eye-friendly colour? Great idea, good luck!

  7. Found your website while searching reviews of Devi. My experience for Devi was somewhat different than you described, but I also went there about 5 years ago. I also live in NYC and would definitely refer to you site to see the places you have reviewed. Good job!

  8. Just read you’re review on Bukhara gril. I’m planning my visit to NYC with my family Dec 2013 would love to take them there. I visited the Maurya Sheraton Bukhara many time in the late 80’s early 90’s and is one of my favourite restaurants of all time. If its anywhere near as good then I think we will all leave very happy. Thaanks for you’re review.

  9. Hello! It is Emiko writing! I am very sorry not to see you on Saturday night. How do you feel in Japan? Thank you very much for many lovely souvenir! If you have enough time in Tokyo Friday night, would like to see you only at a glance.
But I understand you are very busy in Japan and please consider if you have enough time.
    Have a nice trip!
    Sincerely yours

  10. I love your reviews, but you are not well versed in Brooklyn geography. Taci’s Beyti is miles from Coney Island. The confusion may come because it is on Coney Island Avenue. The exact neighborhood is hard to pin down. Gravesend ends at Coney Island Avenue, and Tacis is on the wrong side. Also Gravesend is a neighborhood that you probably haven’t heard of if you don’t live in it. Tacis is on a neighborhood fringe – take your pick: Gravesend, Midwood, Madison.
Coney Island Avenue runs through several neighborhoods. It extends from Prospect Park to Brighton Beach. It never actually reaches Coney Island, which starts at the end of Brighton Beach at Ocean Parkway.

  11. Hi
Thank you for correcting me – this was quite some time ago and you are absolutely right. I have since been back with locals to the area several times and understand the geography much better now. I do appreciate the time you look to point it out. I love the food in the Midwood are – one of my favorites is The Village Cafe which ironically is right around Taci. I will make the necessary corrections.
