With two kids who are obsessed with Harry Potter, we had to hit the brand new Wizarding World of Harry Potter at Universal this past summer. It was a wonder for the kids to see one of their favorite stories come to life. They have done a great job of Hogwarts but I found everything was made a little too small – I think they grossly underestimated the popularity of this world. In any case here are some of the food spots we hit whilst at Harry Potter world.
BUTTER BEER
Well you have to try it. It’s pretty yummy! You can get the frozen version or just the regular chilled one. They come is special commemorative mugs for a cost or just plain plastic cups.
THREE BROOMSTICKS
This tavern is recreated from the one in the story in Hogs mead.
It’s a large cafeteria-style space that is cutely done. This is the main restaurant where you can get all kinds of all American foods to eat. It a little pricey but the portions are large and the food ranges from below average to average. Nothing here is great – but it’s a cute experience for the children and worth a visit.

HONEY DUKES
This popular candy store in Hogs Meade is absolutely adorable. Decorated in bright colors and stripes this fun candy store is selling popular Hogs Meade candies such as every flavor beans and chocolate frogs.
My favorite was the cauldron cake, which was really quite delicious. You must stop by for a peek and taste.
