Ai Fiori is Chef Michael White’s new Midtown stunner!

The menu here takes is inspiration from the northwesterly Italian cuisine of the Ligurian coast. However, Chef White melds aspects of both Italian and French culinary traditions to create plates that dazzle ones palate.

Set on the second floor of the Setai Hotel, the décor at Ai Fiori (“among the flowers”) is rather non descript and doesn’t reflect the lightness of it name. But with ethereal pasta and the most unforgettably divine fish – the ambiance fades into the background.

Ai Fiori, is for now – my most favorite Italian restaurant.

Here is some of what we ate:

Cavolfiore

Country Terrine

Tagliatelle

Razza

Milk Chocolate Cremeux

Olive oil cake
