Danny Meyers really does have the Midas touch when it comes to food. Be it really high-end cuisine or good old American junk food– he is a master of it all.

 Shake Shack began as an all American snack bar, which was allowed a permanent space by the Parks department at Madison Square Park. The insane popularity of this simple yet really superb burger and dog joint has spread like a virus all across New York City and now has arrived in Long Island.

At peak lunch and dinner hours, you will find long lines of eager fans awaiting their burger fix. 

 What makes Shake Shack quite so good is all in the superb ingredients used, which are all freshly ground. The menu provides basic offerings of burgers (including a mushroom one), flat top dogs, fries (their cheese fries are unbelievable), frozen custards, an assortments of drinks, beers and wines. 

Shake Shack has set a new gold standard for burgers and fries, which certainly warrants trading in the big chains restaurants for something that is infinitely better.
