I was invited to a media preview breakfast for the opening of the newest Maison Kayser on the Upper West Side, hosted by Eric Kayser himself!

What a treat it was to meet one of my favorite bakers at one of my favorite artisanal French bakeries!
We were treated to a “Holiday Preview Breakfast” where we tasted a scrumptious array of Kayser’s fall breads and desserts along with specials off the menu.
Eric Kayser, a fourth generation Master Baker, is known for his high quality ingredients, slow fermentation and artisanal process which makes up the heart of his operations. At the breakfast he shared just how fastidious his entire team is about serving quality goods, every single time at every one of his worldwide locations
Kayser and his expert team of highly trained master bakers treated us to an array of fabulous items from the upcoming holiday season including Chestnut bread, Pumpernickel Cider Bread, Caramel Tart, Mini Clafoutis, the Mont Blanc Cassis, Buches de Noel, the Reveillon and much much more.
We were also sent home with a bag stuffed with yummy goodies.
This brand new Upper West Side Maison Kayser brings to the neighborhood a wonderful variety of artisanal handmade, natural breads, pastries and cakes, as well as a full French café menu.
The bright, glass enclosed café is modern is design but still captures the feel of a traditional boulangerie in Paris. It features 48 seats inside an enclosed veranda and also serves a new dinner menu that features seasonal and organic ingredients, and infuses French bistro classics.
The expansion of Maison Kayser to six locations in just two years speaks volumes of just how New Yorkers have embraced this wonderful brand as their very own.
Do make sure you check out the newest Maison Kayser and try out all their wonderful offerings.
