The drive from the Sahara desert to Ouarzazate (nicknamed The door of the desert) is unbelievably beautiful.
The variety of terrain that one views is really breathtaking. The vistas vary from the dunes of the desert to the depths of the Draa Valley, the Todra, Dades and Ziz Gorges, the Tichka Pass and the Fint Oasis.
Its always a good idea to stop off en-route to reflect on all that one is taking in. A perfect little eatery we stopped at was Restaurant Inass, which had a charming outdoor garden space.
The food was nothing spectacular but served as a nice little holdover spot for us to rest for a bit before continuing our travels.
