Luv Tea is a serene oasis in the West Village which offers a highly curated tea experience.
Jaesy Wang is a Tea Master whose family farms in A-Li-Shan in Taiwan has been growing high quality, award-winning Oolong for generations. Aside from the Oolongs, they also source innovative blends from all around the world.
Wang, along with apprentice Wan Di, conduct classes to educate consumers on high-grade teas and their nutritional benefits. A variety of classes are offered most evenings.
The menu at Luv tea isseasonal and is divided in five sections: Taiwanese Oolongs, Signature Cold Drinks, Herbal Blends and Hot and Cold Milk teas.
There is also a small selection of dessert made bypastry Chef Miwa Oizumi which incorporate teas into the recipes. We tried a variety of their macarons which paired beautifully with our tea tasting.
We sampled a range of teas from the herbal cold brew to several pours of the Oolong to two versions of the Lapsang Souchong.
Luv Tea is a wonderful spot to learn about or just enjoy a wonderful tea experience.
