Meet BeeBee Martinent – one of the hardest working gals I know. If you’ve ever been lucky enough to eat at her table, you would know that she serves some of the best Malaysian Chicken Rice in the city.
Always passionate about food, BeeBee is now living out her dream at her very own Bee’s Kopitiam (Bee’s coffeeshop), which opened recently at the Express Avenue Mall Food Court. Here’s where you will find Bee Bee dishing out Malaysian and Singaporean street food to the hoards of hungry Chennaites.
The food stands out in its offerings as one can find everything from Chicken Satay to Mutton Murtabak. Some of my favorites were the Vietnamese Rice Paper Rolls with Prawn, Fried Char Kway Teow and the Nasi Lemak.
Brightly decorated in hues of bright green and purple, this cheery kiosk really complements BeeBee’s vivacious personality. She’s always there with her disarming smile, ready to feed you in style.
Here is some of what we ate:
VIETNAMESE RICE PAPER ROLLS WITH PRAWN
CHICKEN & MUTTON SATAY
MUTTON MURTABAK
FRIED CHAR KWAY TEOW
NASI LEMAK
SESAME PRAWN TOAST
BUZY & LIGHT CHICKEN WINGS
CURRY LAKSA MEE
BURBUR OF THE DAY
So yum!
nicely done as always.. have u removed the stars ???
I wish I could sample Bee Bee’s wonderful dishes for real, but knowing her outstanding talent as a chef, I can easily imagine how great they are. Looking forward to an opportunity to pay a visit to Bee’s Kopitiam soon!
I must say, it all looks quite perfect, and I do know the difference…
can you ship to La Rochelle ?
is the food Halal???
I dont think so but check out their website
im hungry for bee bee’s food
the satay sauce could have been better. kinda lack of the original taste. maybe due to different chilli paste. and failed to serve the sauce + chicken + onions&cucumber separately , which is a major drawback !
