Must try: PB&J, Rice Crispy Crusted Monkfish

The DL is the newest hipster hangout to pop up on the LES.

Housed on the corner of Delancey and Ludlow, the DL offers a tapas menu featuring modern comfort foods with a twist. The bar showcases an extensive list of killer cocktails.

The space is gorgeous – with beautiful wrought iron gates that clad the ceilings interspersed with elegant chandeliers, which really does keep with the theme of the neighborhood it is in. The DL nods to the old whilst ushering in the new.

Executive Chef Wesley Wobles presents a concise but terrific menu. Some of my favorites were the PB&J and the Rice Crispy Crusted Monkfish. Each of these beautifully presented small plates are made to compliment the cocktails the bar offers. The DL is open till 3 AM every night, which makes it an ideal spot to begin or end your evening!

As far as I can see, the DL is a serious contender in the trendy LES scene for both serious foodies and partygoers!
