Hudson street has a new eatery and I was invited to review it.
The Quarter is a cute lil spot owned and manned by the friendliest folks!
Partnered by Hakan Aktas, Tuncay Gulmez and Chef Jason Avery, the Quarter offers a menu that spans the globe and yet offers classic American comfort foods.
The array of dishes we tried was interesting though flavor wise some worked better than others. I thought the Grilled Wild Salmon was really well done – the fish had the perfect amount of char and yet gave way to a wonderful softness inside.
Though competition is tough in this neighborhood, I think it is worthwhile to champion a newbie like the Quarter especially with people as nice as these.
