I was invited to a wonderful press event hosted by Casa Vinicola Zonin which is one of Italy’s largest privately owned wine producers.
We were treated to a superb six-course meal prepared by Mauro Maccioni and his team of chefs from Le Cirque restaurant with pasta provided by Delverde’s Pasta Sommelier.
The entire event was beautifully orchestrated with tastings of Zonin wines from the Tuscan region paired with remarkable seasonal dishes from Le Cirque.
I can think of no better way of having spent an afternoon than sipping (or rather glugging) fine wines, nibbling on great plates and being a part of the wonderful families of Zonin, Le Cirque and Delverde.
