Governor’s Residence, run by the Orient Express Group, is the most beautiful place one can stay at in Yangon. This used to be the official residence for previous Governors from the British Colonial period, which has now been converted into a stunning hotel.

Lush with greenery and artful nooks and crannies – I think that staying at The Governor’s Residence is well worth the splurge.

The food served at Governor’s Residence matches its ambiance. We had a superb dinner at where we savored local delicacies. The food was really outstanding, as was the service. This is one experience that is not to be missed in Yangon.
