The Bakeshop by Woops might just be one of the most delightful disappointments that I have walked into lately.
It is housed in the cutest little French inspired café which is dressed in hues of white with tiny bursts of wildflowers. I couldn’t help but meander into this inviting space that showcased a tempting array of baked goods.
However when it came to the tasting the treats – I was really disenchanted. I tried the cookies, the blondies, the brownies and the macarons and found nothing I loved.
Perhaps I had set my expectations too high because I just loved the place so much – but my experience there did not match my infatuation. I also found the service to be very indifferent which just didn’t fit my assumed vibe of the place.
Too bad – perhaps it was just an off day…. I really hope it was because a place like the Bakeshop could very easily become a favorite of mine.
