Gopal Sweets in Chandigarh is a sweet shop, chaat shop, confectionary and restaurant all rolled into one.

What began as a small outlet in Patiala several decades ago has now grown into a busting, well run multipurpose chain that spans Patiala, Chandigarh and Panchkula.

 Gopal’s offers a great, clean alternate to street food. My favorites there were the golguppas and the gobhi ka samosas (cauliflower samsoa).
