For all the buzz that Asian Jewels Seafood Restaurant in Flushing has got and “Best Dim Sum” lists it has made it to – all I have to say is DO NOT GO!

There is no reason to have such an average dim sum meal in Flushing, which is teeming with eateries that have such great eats.

Asian Jewels is housed in a large space on 39th Avenue between College Point Boulevard and Prince Street. We tried a host of dim sum dishes and nothing stood out and most of it was cold. The meal was such a disappointment I don’t even want to waste more time writing about it. I would much rather stick to my old reliable “Dong Yi Feng” where I know I’m going to get a good meal.
