The brand new Natsumi Tapas brings together a perfect fusion of Japanese and Italian flavors on what can only be described as art on a plate.

Owned by veteran restaurateur Barbara Matsumura (Haru, Joe’s Shanghai, Tomo and Daruma), who brings her vast experience and success to another beautiful venture.
The menu at Natsumi Tapas offers creative fusion small and large plates using the freshest of ingredients. The combinations of flavors are unique offering dishes such as ‘Spicy Tuna Caviar Flatbread with Avocado’ or a ‘Green Tea Gnocchi’.
There are a vibrant array of Carpaccio’s ranging from a ‘Salmon Jalapeno w. Spicy Sesame’ to a ‘Soy Tuna w. Pepperoncini’ and more. The fish is super fresh and the sauces that garnish the various Carpaccio’s are really delectable.
One of the most gorgeous dishes we were served was the ‘Crispy flatbread, topped with avocado, sweet blue crab, microgreens, and spicy mayo’. This plate just about sums up what Natsumi Tapas is all about – quiet elegance, stunning to look at and just as delicious to eat, served in a casual atmosphere.
There are impressive drinks to match the beautiful food. Cocktails like the ‘Rising Sun-gria’ (sparkling Lambrusco, blackberry brandy) along with a wine, beer and other beverages, makes Natsumi Tapas a perfect anytime spot.
Here is some of what we ate:
