The über luxurious Lotte New York Palace, now offers an equally indulgent breakfast experience at its newly launched Villard restaurant.

Set in stunning baroque style rooms, The Villard is reminiscent of the luxury and opulence of the neo-Italian Renaissance period. The dining room is a splendid space, which is evocative of style and elegance.
Chef Oscar Granados (ex Ritz-Carlton/ Fairmont) offers a marvelous new American menu breakfast menu which focuses on locally sourced, fresh ingredients. He brings with him his unique blend of French, Asian, Latin influences along with a deep passion for fresh flavors of farm to table cuisine.
Dishes such as “Lobster Pearl Pasta” and “Creamy White Truffle Grits”, showcase bold dishes bursting with flavor and vibrancy.
Everything is made in-house – I really loved their basket of “Farmhouse Popovers” made with creamed spinach, Gruyere and Parisian ham.
The “power breakfast” is offered on weekdays from 6:30 am to 11:30 am and weekends from 7:00 am to 12:00 pm. At the Villard, the service is graceful, the space is gorgeous and the food is delightful. It really makes for a wonderful way to begin one’s day – do go and try it.
Here is some of what we ate:
