Little House Café is a bakery/café in Elmhurst serving an intriguing selection of Malaysian desserts and baked goods but lets talk about the glorious Singaporean style chicken curry bun they have here.

It is served as a giant dome shaped, innocuous looking bun. However – within the walls of this delectable brioche like enclosure is some of the best Malaysian chicken curry in NYC.

Peel it back, dip the warm bread in the curry and enjoy! BTW – this particular dish has to be pre-orderd at least 6 hours before.

They also make one of my favorite renditions of “Curry Mee”(Curry Yong Tau Foo) here. Deep, flavorful broth with crispy tofu skin, noodles and more makes this a perfect bowl.

I also particularly liked theirchar kway teow. This stir fried Malaysian flat noodles have a perfect smoky flavor and a great balance of flavors.
