Clinton St. Baking Company on Urbanspoon

Looking for a killer breakfast? Head on down to The Clinton St. Baking Company and join the crowds of people who wait on endless lines for buttermilk biscuits and pancakes that can only be made by hands that are divine.

The space is tight and lines are long but once you slide in and are served……..I promise you pure bliss awaits

Clinton St. Baking Company offers a wonderful variety of breakfast, lunch and dinner dishes – everything here tastes so darned good. If you want to skip the lines I suggest going at off-peak hours – they do serve breakfast all day. They also have all kinds of yummy looking baked goods. Clinton St. Baking Company seems to have the perfect recipe for doing everything – just right!

Here is some of what we ate:

BUTTERMILK BISCUIT SANDWICH

The Clinton St. Baking Company makes the best buttermilk biscuits I have ever had – that’s what makes this biscuit sandwich so so good. They slice open a biscuit and place scrambled eggs, melted cheddar, homemade tomato jam in it and serve it with hash browns and bacon.

SOUTHERN BREAKFAST

The Southern breakfast had eggs, sugar cured bacon (which was outstanding), cheese grits which were fabulously creamy and perfectly fried green tomatoes. Every part of this plate offered a different kind of flavor.

EGGS BENEDICT WITH SMOKED SALMON

Their eggs benedict was the best ever! It was made with their buttermilk biscuit, topped with smoked salmon, a perfectly poached egg and a delicious hollandaise sauce. Every bite I took just melted in my mouth.

WILD MAINE BLUEBERRY PANCAKES

These light and airy, perfectly cooked pancakes were topped off with a fresh Wild Maine blueberry sauce. The pancakes are served with warmed maple butter – unbelievably good!
