The Chocolate Room has two locations in Brooklyn: Park Slope and Cobble Hill.
Along with their decadent offerings of fabulous desserts, wines and drinks they also sell artisan creations from the highly acclaimed chocolatier, Fritz Knipschildt.
At the Chocolate Room, they cater to all kinds of choco-palates. From the ones that want to try something a little more sophisticated, to the ones who just want to a have a to-die-for homemade brownie sundae.
They always have specials that are not listed on the menu and are worth a try.

THE AMUSE BOUCHE
At the Chocolate Room, they always start you off with a little choco amuse bouche. Its just enough to get your palette ready for the decadence to follow. I have tried their chocolate gelée and their chocolate chip almond cake. Both were delicious.
CHOCOLATE LAYER CAKE
This is one of Oprah Magazines favorite blackout cakes.
BROWNIE SUNDAE
Did I just die and go to heaven? Yes this brownie sundae really is that good. Its a must try.
FLOURLESS CHOCOLATE CAKE WITH RASPBERRY SAUCE
This is my favorite dessert there. The combination of the tart berry sauce perfectly compliments the decadence of the flour-less cake.
CHOCOLATE FONDUE FOR TWO
The melted chocolate used in this really fun fondue is a perfect 65% dark chocolate which really enhanced the flavor of all the dipping. They also give you home-made marshmallows which taste like gourmet cotton balls when eaten.
CHOCOLATE PISTACHIO CAKE
This is the only dessert that I was really disappointed in. I found the cake was too dry and somehow the pistachio didn’t shine in this cake, the way it should have.
