Salumeria Rosi Parmacotto on the Upper West Side brings a slice of everyday Italian life to New York City.

The Rosi family, who are famous for their specialty meat company Parmacotto in Italy, along with acclaimed Chef Cesare Casella, have created a modern version of an Italian salumeria.

At Salumeria Rosi one can buy the highest quality deli meats whilst noshing on Casella’s Tuscan inspired tapas style Italian dishes. Salumeria offers a stunning array of fine salumi, wines and hearty small plates.

Their salumi is truly outstanding and the focaccia is delicious. I couldn’t stop eating it! I really enjoyed every dish I tried.

I think Chef Cesare Casella has done a great job of putting together a delightfully simple menu, which showcases the vibrancy of Italian cooking in true Tuscan style.

Here is some of what we ate:

CAPONATA
