Community Table of Litchfield County serves top-notch cuisine on par with some of the best of the best restaurants in New York City.

Chef Joel Viehland has been in world famous kitchens such as Noma (Copenhagen) and Gramercy Tavern.

At Community Table, Viehland strives to serve food that is truly locally inspired and sourced. Farm fresh takes new on new meaning here as all ingredients have been either grown, raised or foraged from about 30 local farms within 50 miles of the kitchen.

At the heart of the restaurant is a huge “community table” for people to sit and dine communally.

The menu is as seasonal as it gets. Dishes are simple in concept yet intriguing in taste and texture.

Everything about Community Table vibes with my being. From the homage to seasonal food and the locals who grow it to the idea of bringing the community together with fabulous food.

My brunch at Community Table might be one of the most unforgettable meals that I have had in recent times, I cant wait to go back soon.
