I’ve heard so much about the biryani at Dindigul Thalappakatti that I figured it was time to go and try it.

Dindigul Thalappakatti has been in the news a lot recently – first about the winning a case against copycat locations and then about just how horrifically filthy their food preparation headquarters are.

The food served at Thalappakati was largely unimpressive. The biryani was decent but really nothing to create such a hue and cry about and certainly after reading about the hygiene standards – I’m never visiting there again.
