Bonjour Crepes & Wine is a cute little addition to the vast dearth of interesting food spots in Yorkville.

The menu here offers a decent range of savory, sweet or omelette crêpes. It is staffed with an amiable crew and the concept is really great but the execution of both food and service needs improvement.

 I found their crepes to be heavy and doughy whilst they should be light and airy. I also found that they don’t use the freshest of ingredients to fill the crepes with which is telling when you bite into them.

 The service whilst pleasant was inept. They misunderstood our order and seemed to have little knowledge of the wine selection they housed.

That being said, a place like this might just fly on the Upper East Side. It could work well as an after school spot for kids and parents to unwind at with something to offer for both.
